TRUJILLO: SPRING AND ADVENTURE

DAY 01: DAY IN TRUJILLO AND ITS ATTRACTIONS

Upon arriving in Trujillo, we headed to the Hotel El Labrador, located just three blocks from the Plaza Mayor. After settling in, we began the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel to recharge our batteries.

At 10:30 am, we will begin our adventure with the Moche Countryside Tour, visiting the Huaca de la Luna, where we will learn about the fascinating history of the ancient Moche civilization. Afterwards, we will head to a local tourist restaurant to enjoy a tasty lunch.

In the afternoon, we will attend a fascinating exhibition of paso horses, a cultural tradition of the region that will allow us to appreciate the equestrian art of the area. We will continue our visit exploring Chan Chan, the Chan Chan Citadel, the largest adobe city in the world and a declared World Heritage Site.

Finally, we will head to the Huanchaco resort, a tourist destination famous for its beautiful beaches, where we can relax and enjoy the scenery. Finally, we will return to the hotel for the night, resting after a day full of history, culture and natural beauty.

DAY 02: DAY IN MAGDALENA DE CAO AND TRUJILLO

We will start the day with a pick-up from the hotel and head to Magdalena de Cao. In this fascinating town, we will explore the Museum of Mrs. de Cao, a space dedicated to the history of Mrs. de Cao, where we will be able to appreciate an impressive collection of Moche ceramics and the famous mummy of the lady, preserved in her glass urn.

Then, we will climb to the Huaca Cao Viejo, where we will admire the impressive friezes that adorn the walls of this important archaeological site, witnesses to the art and culture of the Moche.

After an enriching morning, we will return to Trujillo to enjoy a free afternoon, perfect for exploring the city at our own pace. We will end the day with the second night of accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 03: FINAL DAY IN TRUJILLO

We will start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, at 9:45 am, we will begin the city tour, visiting some of the most emblematic sites in the city, such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Casa de la Emancipación, the Casa Urquiaga and the Plazuela El Recreo.

After this tour, it will be time to enjoy a delicious lunch in the city. After lunch, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace.

Finally, with unforgettable memories of Trujillo, we will begin our journey back to your hometown.
