PUNO: UROS - AMANTANI - TAQUILE

Description

DAY 01: EXPERIENCE ON LAKE TITICACA

We will pick you up from your hotel to begin this unforgettable experience. From the port of Puno, we will depart for the Uros Titino Islands, where you will receive an explanation about the incredible construction technique of the floating islands and the lifestyle of the local inhabitants. In addition, you will have the option of taking a ride on a totora raft (optional).

Next, we will head to Amantani Island. Local families will warmly welcome us and host us in their homes for an authentic cultural experience. Afterwards, we will share a typical lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Pachatata Ceremonial Center, followed by a local peña show.

DAY 02: TAQUILE ISLAND 

After breakfast, we will depart for Taquile Island. We will hike uphill to enjoy the stunning view of Lake Titicaca. During the tour, we will be able to appreciate the renowned local crafts, a World Heritage Site, and enjoy a traditional dance performance. Finally, we will have lunch and return to Puno to conclude our trip.
