DAY 01: ADVENTURE IN CHANCHAMAYO
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at 8:30 AM, where you will enjoy local flavors before starting this fascinating day. At 10:00 AM, we head to visit the historic KIMIRI Suspension Bridge, declared a cultural heritage of the nation, which will offer you an impressive view, with the great Profile of the Sleeping Native on the horizon, a landscape worthy of admiration.
Our next stop will be the Mirador Villa Progreso, where you can contemplate the confluence of the Perene rivers and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the region.
Next, we will enter the Ashaninka Native Community, where you will be able to learn about their traditions and customs. Not only will you learn about their way of life, but you will also be able to put on their traditional clothing and join them in a dance around a campfire, a unique and cultural experience.
After this cultural experience, we will head to the Bayoz Waterfalls and El Velo de la Novia, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the waterfalls, surrounded by the natural beauty of the jungle.
The next stop will be the Port of Yurinki, where you can delight in Amazonian cuisine, trying typical dishes that will surprise you with their flavor and freshness.
Finally, we will carry out a tasting at an Industrial Company in Chanchamayo, where you will be able to try the exquisite coffee and other local products that make the region famous.
With this last experience, we conclude our tour, full of memories, flavors and new experiences, closing this day with a smile.
DAY 02: CENTRAL JUNGLE
We will start our day with a delicious breakfast at 8:30 AM, and then begin the tour through the beautiful green mantle of the Central Jungle. At 10:00 AM, our first stop will be the Paucartambo Bridge, which marks the border between the regions of Junín and Pasco, a key point to admire the natural landscape that surrounds the area.
Later, in Churumazu, you will have the option of canopying (optional activity) to enjoy a unique view from above.
Next, we will head to Oxapampa, where we will tour the picturesque district of Chontabamba, known for its tourist attractions. In Tunki Cave, you will be able to observe impressive geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites. Take the opportunity to capture photos of the typical houses of the area, a reflection of the identity of this beautiful place.
Then, we will visit Warapo, where you will learn about the production process of the traditional aguardiente, a characteristic drink of the region.
You won't want to miss a stop at the Casa del Artesano, where you can put on Austro-German clothing and buy handmade souvenirs, a sample of the rich cultural heritage of the area.
The next destination will be the Chontabamba Theme Park, where you will enjoy a honey tasting, a highly appreciated local product.
In Tiroles, you will have the opportunity to taste fresh dairy products and take part in a fun cultural experience, where you can enjoy typical dances, including the Parishpolka, a traditional dance from the region.
Finally, we will visit the Oxapampa Main Square and the Santa Rosa Church, where you can learn more about local history and architecture.
With this last stop, we finish our tour, full of unforgettable experiences and memories.
DAY 03: YANACHAGA CHEMILLÉN RESERVE
We will begin our journey with a delicious breakfast at 8:30 AM, and then begin an exciting journey through the Yanachaga Chemillén Reserve. At 10:00 AM, we will arrive at the majestic Rayantambo Waterfall, an ideal place to take photos and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us.
We will continue towards the Welcome Portal, the beginning of the only Austro-German colony in the world, Pozuzo. Here we will explore the main square of the place, where there is a replica of the Norton ship, which symbolizes the arrival of the first settlers.
Our next stop will be a dip in the Pozas de Agua Salada, a refreshing experience in a natural setting. Afterwards, we will head to the Dorcher Bier Brewery, where we will learn about the process of making local craft beer and enjoy a tasting.
Later, we will visit the Colonists' Cemetery, a site steeped in history, which will allow us to learn more about the founders of the colony. Next, we will arrive at the Emperor William I Suspension Bridge, where we will discover its interesting history.
Our adventure will continue with a visit to the Main Square of the Prussian Quarter, an emblematic place in the area. Finally, we will close our journey with a delicious traditional pozuzino lunch, where you can enjoy the authentic flavors of the region.
