DAY 01: ADVENTURE IN IQUITOS AND AMAZON RIVER

Upon arrival at the Iquitos airport, you will be comfortably transferred to the hotel, where you will receive a brief description of the city as you head to the pier. This will be the start of your emotional adventure in the Amazon rainforest.

Once at the pier, we will board a boat to navigate the Nanay River, a tributary of the Amazon River, the largest river in the world. Our first stop will be in the majestic Amazon, where you can begin to immerse yourself in the biodiversity that the region has to offer.

The next stop will be at Fundo Pedrito, a unique place to discover the Amazonian fauna. Here, you will be able to observe animals such as paiches, piranhas, caimans, turtles, parrots, macaws, anacondas, and even the famous Victoria Regia plant. This experience will bring you closer to the natural wealth of the Amazon in an unparalleled way.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Avatar Amazon Lodge, a space that will allow you to savor local flavors while relaxing in an environment surrounded by the purest nature.

In the afternoon, you can opt for a botanical walk or a canoe ride, guided by native experts, where you will learn about the local flora and fauna, as well as learn about the traditional uses of plants by the local community.

In the evening, it will be time to enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge itself, while you relax in its cozy bar. As night falls, you will take a night excursion to explore the jungle in search of tarantulas, cicadas, spiders, praying mantises and listen to the mysterious sounds of nocturnal animals.

Finally, you will spend the night at the Avatar Amazon Lodge, where you will rest surrounded by the magic of the Amazon to continue your adventure the next day.

DAY 02: FULL DAY IN THE AMAZON

At 4:30 AM, weather permitting, you will be part of a sunrise excursion to enjoy the sunrise, an impressive spectacle that lights up the Amazon rainforest.

Then, you will go bird watching, a morning walk ideal for capturing the typical species of the area with your camera. It is important that you remain silent during this tour so as not to scare the birds and so you can enjoy them in their natural habitat.

At 8:00 AM, you will return to the ecolodge for a well-deserved breakfast, where you can enjoy a delicious meal while relaxing in the natural surroundings.

After breakfast, it will be time to visit the Avatar Viewpoint, a platform located 26 meters high, from where you will have a spectacular view of the vast Amazon rainforest. The panoramic view will be perfect for capturing some memorable photos.

In the morning, you can also enjoy an adrenaline-pumping experience at the Avatar Amazon Park, with activities such as five ziplines, two hanging bridges, a climbing net, and a 25-meter-high rappel. Remember that the maximum weight allowed for these activities is 100 kg.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Yaguas Indigenous Community, where you will be able to interact with the members of this community, enjoy their songs and dances, and take home one of their beautiful local crafts as a souvenir.

Then, you will enjoy an excursion to the Free Animal Reserve, where you will have the opportunity to get up close to species such as monkeys, macaws, parrots, sloth bears and the feared anaconda.

At noon, you will return to the Avatar Amazon Lodge for a delicious lunch, which will recharge your energy for the following activities.

In the afternoon, you will practice traditional piranha fishing, an artisanal activity in the style of local indigenous communities. You will also have time to enjoy a dip in the Amazon River, whose warm waters will invite you to relax.

If you visit during the summer season, you cannot miss the mud treatment on the small islands nearby. This natural spa is ideal for receiving a mud treatment that will rejuvenate your skin. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit.

Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to observe pink and gray dolphins in the Amazon River, where these majestic mammals will swim gracefully in their natural habitat.

At night, after a day full of activities, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, while our guides share fascinating Amazonian legends with you.

Finally, you will spend the night at the Avatar Amazon Lodge, surrounded by the magic and sounds of the Amazon rainforest.

DAY 03: FINAL AMAZON ADVENTURE

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the Avatar Amazon Lodge, where you will enjoy a comforting meal before setting off on new adventures in the jungle.

Next, you will embark on a jungle hike, exploring the impressive tree known as La Ceiba de la Selva or Huimba, which is almost 500 years old and has a diameter of 10 feet. This ancient tree is a symbol of the region’s biodiversity.

Next, you can have the time of your life trying to find vines to simulate Tarzan's famous movement. This activity will allow you to feel part of nature, while having fun in a unique environment.

At 12:30 PM, you will check out of the lodge and prepare for the last stage of your adventure.

At 1:00 PM, you will enjoy lunch at the Avatar Amazon Lodge, where you can taste a delicious dish in a natural and relaxing environment.

After lunch, you will take an exciting navigation down the Amazon River for approximately 2 hours to return to Iquitos. This peaceful river trip will allow you to see the splendor of the jungle from another perspective.

Finally, you will arrive in Iquitos around 4:00 PM, where your Amazon experience will conclude. From here, you will be transferred directly to your hotel or to the airport for your return flight, with the last transfer included in your package.
