DAY 01: DRIVING TO THE LLACA VALLEY – COUNTRYSIDE BASE (4760M)

Pick up from the hotel at approximately 8:00 A.M., then you will be
transferred from your hotel to the Llaca Valley 02 hours from Huaraz after lunch we can walk around the Lake and Glacier.

DAY 02: MORAINE CAMP – GLACIER – BASIC MOUNTAINEERING COURSE

The starting point of the hike to Moraine Camp for about 2.5 hours, during this hike we will see mountains on the east site like San Juan, Ranrapalca, Ocshapalca and Mount Leon Dormido, arriving at the camp around 1:00 pm for lunch, after lunch, we will check our climbing equipment and organize every detail to do a team building the next day, then we will have an early dinner and sleep and camp overnight at (4760 m).

DAY 03: MORAINE CAMP – SUMMIT DAY (5386M) – MORAINE CAMP – HUARAZ

This day, after quick breakfast at Moraine Camp, we will start a short climb over the rocks for about 25 minutes to reach the glacier, where we will put on our climbing equipment such as crampons, harness, helmet, etc. From the moraine to the summit it takes approximately 05 hours to climb, at first it is a flat glacier where it will be easy to walk, then it turns a little more step.

Just a few meters before the summit is a bit more difficult, but with the professional help of our team we will reach the top (5686 m), take pictures for about 15 minutes and immediately go down to the Moraine for about 03 hours, reaching the Moraine we will take out our climbing equipment and pack up to start going down to the Moraine Camp, where we will have lunch and rest. Camp overnight in the Moraine. Then we will pick up the tents to continue down to the road where our transport will be waiting for us to transport us to Huaraz, arriving in Huaraz around 16:00 or 17:00 hours.
