The tour begins at 8:30 a.m., when our team will pick you up directly at the door of your hotel in Cusco, to begin a day full of adventures and discoveries in some of the most fascinating sites in the region.

Aboard a modern, air-conditioned tourist minivan, we will head comfortably to the town of Maras, enjoying a journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. During the journey, you can relax and admire the beautiful Andean landscapes that surround the city.

Our first stop will be in Maras, a picturesque colonial town known for its rich history and architecture. You will have the opportunity to explore the colonial church and historic doorways of the place, enjoying the tranquility of this charming destination.

From Maras, we will head towards the Moray archaeological site, where we will explore the famous circular terraces that, according to experts, were used by the ancient Incas to carry out agricultural experiments. We will learn more about this fascinating place during a 1-hour guided tour, while we discover the secrets held by this impressive site, perfect for capturing spectacular photos.

After visiting Moray, we will travel for 30 minutes to the Salineras de Maras, one of the most amazing landscapes in the region. The Salineras are a vast set of salt pools that have been exploited by local inhabitants since pre-Incan times.

Here, we will take a 45-minute guided tour, where we will learn about the history of salt in the region and learn about the extraction process, while enjoying free time to take photos of this incredible landscape. The panoramic views of the salt flats and the surrounding mountains provide a unique setting to capture unforgettable memories.

The tour includes tickets to the Maras Salt Mines, allowing you to enjoy the tour without any additional worries.

Finally, at 2:00 p.m., the tour will conclude with the return to the city of Cusco, where we will drop you off at your hotel or at a central location, according to your preference, to close this day full of culture, history and beautiful landscapes.
