DAY 01: EXPERIENCE IN THE UROS ISLANDS

From your hotel in Puno, we will transfer you to the local port of Kalapajra, where our adventure will begin. From there, we will begin the trip on a boat to a lodge on the floating islands of the Uros, where the island family will give you a warm welcome.

Upon arrival, you can settle into your rooms, which offer impressive views of Lake Titicaca, a landscape that will accompany you throughout your stay.

The local family will share with you their way of life as “children of the lake”, including a demonstration of their customs and the traditional technique of building floating islands, a knowledge they have preserved for generations.

Finally, you will be able to enjoy a unique night at the lodge, surrounded by the tranquility and beauty of the lake, creating unforgettable memories in this very special environment.

DAY 02: UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS

Start the day with a traditional breakfast shared with the local family, a perfect opportunity to learn more about their daily customs and traditions.

After breakfast, you have the option to return to the city of Puno or spend the day exploring the beautiful island of Taquile. In Taquile, you will be able to get up close to its famous textile traditions, a unique cultural legacy that has been passed down through generations. Whatever your choice, your day will be filled with memorable moments and a deep contact with the local culture.
