DAY 01: LAMAS NATIVE

The adventure began with the departure at 3:00 PM, heading towards Lamas on a journey of approximately 45 minutes full of impressive landscapes.

Our first stop was at the Plaza de Armas de Lamas, where the guide immersed us in the rich history of this charming city. Next, we explored the majestic Castillo de Lamas, touring each of its floors while listening to detailed explanations about its construction and meaning.

Later, we arrived at the Wayku Neighborhood, a space full of life and tradition. There, the natives gave us a warm welcome, sharing their customs and teaching us their ancestral dances. We all had the opportunity to participate, creating a unique festive atmosphere and cultural exchange.

Finally, at 6:30 PM, we return to Tarapoto, carrying in our hearts the magic and learning of a journey full of history and connection with the roots of Lamas.

DAY 02: BLUE LAGOON

The day began with a departure between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, an ideal time to make the most of the day. The first stop was at the captive raft, where we crossed the Huallaga River enjoying the tranquility of the landscape.

The next destination was the Mirador La Punta del Gallinazo, a perfect place to admire the spectacular views of the river and capture unforgettable photos. Among the outstanding structures were the "La mano" and the "El globo", accessible with a prior ticket and designed to enjoy the surroundings from different perspectives.

Upon arrival at the Blue Lagoon, we boarded a boat for a ride of approximately one hour. During the tour, the guide regaled us with fascinating stories, including the story of the famous mermaid's seat, a legend that added a magical touch to the experience.

The lunch break was a tourist break, with a varied à la carte selection that highlighted local flavours. Afterwards, we participated in a drink tasting, trying exotic cocktails made with typical ingredients from the region.

The day continued with free time for recreational activities. Visitors enjoyed a refreshing swim in the lagoon and various options to relax and have fun for two hours.

Finally, we began our return to Tarapoto around 4:00 PM, closing a day full of discoveries, nature and unforgettable moments.

DAY 03: ALTOMAYO

The day started early with a departure between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, ready for a tour full of unique experiences. After approximately two hours of travel, we arrived at Moyobamba, known as the “City of Orchids”.

Our first stop was at Chacra Vieja, where we explored a fascinating museum of antiquities. We also enjoyed a tasting of exotic drinks such as the famous Siete raíces and chuchuhuasi, which reflect the traditions of the region.

The next visit took us to the Moyobamba Orchid Garden, a space full of color and fragrance, ideal for marveling at the variety and beauty of local orchids.

We continued towards the Naciente del Tío Yacu, a river with crystal-clear waters perfect for relaxing. We had time to swim, take photos and enjoy the tranquility offered by this natural environment for approximately an hour and a half.

Afterwards, we headed to the San Mateo Hot Springs, known for its crystal-clear waters with therapeutic properties. This place offered a revitalizing break in the middle of nature.

Before returning, we enjoyed a delicious Altomayo coffee tasting, an experience that allowed us to appreciate the richness of the coffee grown in this region.

Finally, around 8:00 PM, we arrived back in Tarapoto, culminating a day full of culture, nature and relaxation.

DAY 04: CARPISHUYACU / PISHURAYACU

The day began between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with an enthusiastic departure towards the beautiful waterfalls of the region.

Our first destination was the impressive Carpishuyacu Waterfall, which we reached after a challenging 45-minute hike through the virgin jungle, with a high level of difficulty, which allowed us to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounded us. Upon arrival, we took a descent in a handmade boat to cross a river, which made the experience even more memorable.

After exploring and appreciating the majesty of the waterfall, we had time to take a bath in its refreshing waters, while our guide told us the history of the place, immersing us even more in the magic of the environment.

Just 50 meters from the first waterfall, we head to the Pishurayacu Waterfalls, another impressive spectacle of nature, before continuing with the itinerary.

The next stop was at the San José Hot Springs, where we were able to relax and enjoy its waters with healing properties, which allowed us to recover after the walk and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the place.

To finish the tour, we headed to the hamlet of San José, where we enjoyed a delicious regional lunch, with the typical flavors of the region.

Arrival in Tarapoto was approximately at 4:00 PM, concluding a day full of emotions, nature and rest.

DAY 06: WITCH'S LEAP

The adventure began between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM with an enthusiastic departure to one of the most magical destinations in the region.

The trip to Salto de la Bruja was 35 minutes by road, followed by a walk of approximately 30 minutes with a medium difficulty, which allowed us to go deeper into nature while enjoying the landscape and the tranquility of the surroundings.

Upon arrival, we were amazed by the splendor of the waterfalls, a place full of magic and mystery, where we had time to admire the beauty of the place and learn about its fascinating history. The experience was unique and enriching, especially when we took a bath in the waterfalls, which revitalized us and connected us even more with nature.

After this incredible adventure, we headed to the San José hamlet to enjoy a regional lunch, which allowed us to taste the authentic typical dishes of the region.

Finally, we return to Tarapoto, arriving approximately at 4:00 PM, concluding a day full of natural beauty and unforgettable moments.

DAY 07: AHUASHIYACU FALLS

The departure was between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM, with an exciting trip to the Ahuashiyacu Waterfalls. From Tarapoto, we took a ride of approximately 30 minutes to the entrance, surrounded by natural landscapes that filled us with anticipation.

Upon arrival, we began a 10-minute hike through the jungle to reach the majestic waterfall. The moderate difficulty of the hike allowed us to enjoy the path as we delved deeper into nature.

Once there, we had enough time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the waterfall and take the opportunity to take beautiful photos of the surroundings. This experience lasted about 1 hour, leaving us time to relax and connect with the beauty of the place.

Afterwards, we had the opportunity to do some handicraft shopping, where we were able to acquire unique souvenirs from the region. Afterwards, we headed to the Mirador Ahuashiyacu, where we were able to observe the incredible vegetation surrounding the falls and capture some spectacular photos with the waterfalls in the background.

Finally, we return to Tarapoto, arriving at approximately 1:00 PM, concluding a day full of natural beauty, adventures and unforgettable memories.
